KAYA has already accomplished so much with helping to elect many leaders from our community since 2008 and have made strides in building partnerships with other community organizations. I would like to see KAYA in 5 years develop a strong field operation on the local, state, and national level to support the candidates we endorse and, equally important, build a volunteer and mentorship program within each chapter to ensure that we stay in touch with and remain invested in the day-to-day issues and interests of the community we represent and provide the resources and support necessary for the future leaders of our community.
